East Pune is where the city’s offices went, and the housing followed. Kharadi, Magarpatta and Hadapsar hold the IT parks; Mundhwa, Koregaon Park and Kalyani Nagar hold much of the newer, larger housing around them. Mundhwa · pre-launch
Anandtara Prime Mundhwa
Luxury 3 BHK homes in four towers on four acres, four a floor, every one a corner home, with twenty-five amenities. Magarpatta City 1.5 km, EON IT Park 6.1 km. The developer’s presentation also shows a 4 BHK layout, not yet confirmed. MahaRERA registration is awaited, so there is no price yet.

Usable carpet is RERA carpet plus the balcony and utility. Prices are the developer’s starting prices and can change without notice. Infinitee Homes is an authorised channel partner for both projects and the promoter of neither.
What counts as East Pune
There is no official boundary. In everyday use, East Pune means the localities east of the old city and the Cantonment: Koregaon Park, Kalyani Nagar and Viman Nagar nearest the centre; Kharadi, Mundhwa, Magarpatta and Hadapsar beyond them; and Wagholi, Manjri and Fursungi further out. Pune International Airport, at Lohegaon, is on this side too.
Why it grew
Offices. EON IT Park and the World Trade Center in Kharadi, Magarpatta City’s IT park, Cybercity, and SP Infocity on the Hadapsar side put a large working population on this side of the city, and the housing market grew around them. Most buyers here are choosing a commute as much as a home.
What is built, and what is only approved
The Aqua Line metro reaches Ramwadi, its eastern terminus, and has run there since 6 March 2024. The extension further east towards Wagholi is approved and not built, with no published commissioning date. Treat it, and every planned road widening, as upside rather than a reason to pay more today.
We do not publish commute times. On this side of the city the gap between 8 am and 2 pm is not a rounding error. Drive the route at the hour you would really travel, before you pay a booking amount.

Mundhwa
Newer high-rises between Koregaon Park and Magarpatta, including the riverside towers marketed as Koregaon Park Annexe. The roads have not kept pace with the building.

Luxury flats in East Pune: what the word should mean
Almost every brochure on this side of the city says luxury, and the word is not defined anywhere. Test it against things you can check:
- Homes a floor. Fewer flats on a landing means more privacy and a shorter lift wait. Prime Mundhwa has four.
- RERA carpet area. Price the home on the carpet figure in the agreement, not on built-up or super area. What the three figures mean.
- Sides open. A corner home takes light and air from two or three sides; ask what may be built on the plot opposite.
- The amenities you will use, and the maintenance that pays for them every month.
- The project’s own MahaRERA registration, with its declared completion date.
